We collect the information needed to run the survey, including your email address, authentication records, partner invite email addresses when you enter them, signup demographics such as gender and age range, and the survey responses you save in the app.

If you type personal details into free-text answers, those details may also be stored as part of your response.

We use your information to create and secure accounts, save progress, connect partners, unlock the comparison view after both people finish, investigate misuse, and keep the service working.

Your responses are meant for the survey experience. They are visible to you and, where the product is designed to do so, to your linked partner inside the app.

Required cookies are used to keep sign-in and account sessions working.

Optional analytics tools are only turned on after you accept them in the banner. Those tools help us understand site traffic, reliability, and performance.

Data is stored and processed using third-party providers that help operate the product, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for hosting and site performance tooling, and OpenAI when both partners request an AI overview.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. We only share data with service providers that help us run the site, with your linked partner where the product requires it, or if we are legally required to do so.

AI overviews use OpenAI to summarize the couple's survey answers into neutral discussion points. Both partners must opt in before any overview can be generated.

When an overview is requested, we send the survey questions and both partners' answers to OpenAI. We do not intentionally send account emails, invite tokens, or authentication metadata in the AI request.

Generated overviews are saved in the app and reused for the same answer set. A new overview can be generated only after at least one answer changes, subject to app limits.

You can choose not to allow optional analytics and still use the core service.

You can also delete your account from the account page inside the app. That deletion flow is intended to remove your sign-in and survey data from the service.
